Peace and Security Institute is a non-governmental non-commercial organization. Aims of the institute are:

  • To identify, analyze and evaluate problems in the peacebuilding, security and international relations issues; to elaborate mechanisms for their resolution;
  • To strengthen scientific potential in the above-mentioned directions;
  • To participate in the conflict resolution on different levels;
  • To contribute in the reconciliation process;
  • To develop local, regional and international cooperation in peacebuilding and security issues;
  • To elaborate innovative approaches to eradicate existing challenges, especially in the conflict zones;
  • To support youth, women, minorities and their development; promote their integration in the civil, political and economic processes;
  • To protect human rights and fundamental freedoms.
